Marine Clerks History October 2012 marks the 75th Anniversary of the Marine Clerks Association in the Ports of LA/LB. Local 63 is assembling pictures and will be conducting interviews as we celebrate our 75th anniversary. Here are just a few of the pictures collected so far. Captions will be added soon. 2011 Local 63 Annual Holiday Luncheon Here are some pics from Local 63's Annual Holiday Luncheon hosted by the Dispatchers and catered by Trani's. It was a fun time for all!

ILWU Conducts 14th Annual Feed the Community Day For the 14th consecutive year, ILWU Local 63, along with Locals 13, 94, Southern California Pensioners, and Women's Auxiliary #8, funded and participated in the ILWU's annual "Feed the Community Day" for needy families in the Harbor area. The 70-pound baskets, which can feed as many as 10 people, typically include a whole 12-pound turkey, cornbread, fresh fruit, vegetables, etc.

Locals 13 and 63 Host Chinese Labor Delegation Locals 13 and 63 recently hosted a Chinese Labor delegation from a multitude of trades around China. A lot of beneficial information was shared regarding conditions in China and the U.S. and the ILWU was able to share some information on how our democratically-run Union operates.
